Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced
  • 1 cup raw honey

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced strawberries in a clean jar.
  2. Pour the raw honey over the strawberries.
  3. Cover the jar with a lid and let it ferment at room temperature for three days, stirring daily. You'll know it's working when you see bubbles.
  4. After three days, move the jar to the refrigerator.

This is a simple and delicious way to preserve strawberries and create a flavourful honey syrup. The fermentation process adds a depth of flavor to the honey and a slight fizziness to the strawberries.
