Living and being with prosperity and abundance, impacted by what we eat and how we interact with our environment. Working towards a prosperous full circle through growing and producing.
‘Grow’ is the heart of what I do. It’s where the insights I gather through ‘Sense’ are put into practice, and where I actively participate in the cycle of life. For me, agriculture isn’t just about producing food; it’s about cultivating a relationship with the land, with my community, and with myself. The emphasis is on the ‘culture’ within agriculture.
I believe in moving beyond the industrial model of food production, which so often depletes the soil and disconnects us from the source of our sustenance. Instead, I embrace regenerative and sustainable practices that nourish the earth, increase biodiversity, and create a more resilient ecosystem. My methods are a blend of old and new – combining the time-tested wisdom of traditional farming with the data-driven insights of my ‘Sense’ phase.
This is a hands-on, community-driven endeavour. I believe that the knowledge of how to grow food is a fundamental human skill that should be shared openly. I’m passionate about creating open-source resources and fostering a community of growers who can learn from each other and collaborate on creating a more sustainable and equitable food system.
‘Grow’ is more than just a phase in my process; it’s a commitment to a way of life. It’s about getting my hands dirty, about celebrating the slow and steady miracle of growth, and about rediscovering the profound satisfaction that comes from nurturing life from seed to harvest.
In this section, we share our journey in regenerative agriculture, urban gardening, and permaculture. We discuss the importance of open-source collaboration in gardening and farming knowledge, and explore the vision for a community-driven grow planner that helps individuals optimise their growing efforts in a sustainable way.
